京都小旅行、2か所目は哲学の道に行ってきました。意外と有名らしいですが、今回旅の下調べをするまで知りませんでした。
I visited The Philosopher’s Walk in my tiny trip to Kyoto. I didn’t know that this tourist spot is famous.
哲学の道、北側から歩き始めます。銀閣寺への入口近くから始まります。
I started walking from the north end of the path. It starts near the entrance road of Ginkakuji Temple.

今回行って思ったのは、この哲学の道は、桜の時期から紅葉の時期までが一番見ごろではないかということです。もう2週間京都出張が延びたら、桜の花が舞い散る素敵な景色が広がっていたことでしょう(笑) きっと初夏から初秋までは美しい緑を楽しめることでしょう。
The best time to walk through this path seems to be the season from the cherry blossoms to the autumn leaves. I could see the nice scenery of cherry blossoms if the business trip was postponed two weeks! Green leaves will welcome us from the beginning of summer to the beginning of fall.

南側のほうは、川を挟んで片側にだけ林のある、結構開けた感じの道になります。
The south side of the path has wide view with trees in one side over the creek.

石畳に坂道の組み合わせがいかにも京都らしいです。
I felt I was in Kyoto when I went through stone paving and sloping road.

銀閣寺バス停を降りた後、哲学の道の入口へ向かっていた途中、こんな風景を見つけました。
During the way from the bus stop to the path, there was such a interesting road.
川沿いの道が川の上にせり出している
京都の狭い昔からの通りを車が通れるように改修した感じがあって、地域性を感じました。
I guess Kyoto’s narrow road from ancient times was reconstructed for cars, so I felt regionality.
3か所目は鴨川の見えるスタバです。また後日。
